Properties: it easily dissolves in water, liquid ammonia, aqueous ammonia and ethanol, and slightly in propanone. Its aqueous solution is acidity. It is hygroscopic.
Applications: used in nickel plating; coloring of metals; nickel catalyzer; ceramics etc.
